V2 U Shape Beds

Van Furniture are pleased to announce our V2 U shape bed system designed for T5 T6 campers in both LWB and SWB. Our new V2 design incorporates a large lift up top to allow larger items to be stored inside, we have also change the door design to allow a Porta Potti 145 to be easily fitted and removed from inside the van without the need to go outside or remove any cushions. Customers have asked for storage space for a portable toilet so we have incorporated it into our new design.

One important update is we have changed the rear doors, rather than two small doors we have re-designed the back to be fitted with one larger door on our U shape beds for storage of larger items in your camper.

We have also updated some new fixing holes for ease of assembly making our U shape bed kits easier and quicker to assemble.

Van Furnitures U shape bed kits although designed originally for Vw T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1 get fitted into all kinds of vans, customers with Ford Transit Customs, Vauxhall Vivaros and other larger vans have fitted our U shape Bed kits into there vans, its difficult for us to advise on any modifications made to customers kits to fit different van sizes as we haven’t test fitted these, hopefully with our technical drawings on the website you can see what van types and sizes our kits can be fitted into.

U Shape beds have proved really popular in camper vans in 2020, a U shape bed layout enables a small kitchen to be fitted whilst having a much larger bed and seating area, unfortunately none of our ply beds are designed for seat belts or travelling on, this needs a secure steel frame bolted into your van professionally. Customers without the need of rear seat belts and rock & rolls beds our U Shape bed systems make great alternative layouts and popular with small families & surf vans alike.

We are building a new U Shape bed and will be available for viewings and to purchase when we are allowed to open to the public again, whilst in Covid lockdown no 2 we are only to happy to arrange videos, photos and video calls of our stock furniture, all of our furniture can be collected from Thetford, Norfolk or we can arrange delivery via courier & pallet delivery services.
